Green Day Win People's Choice Award
Green Day has a new gong to display in their trophy room v The People-s Choice Award.
The band was named Favorite Group at the Annual People-s Choice Awards in Los Angeles and January 10th.
The American Idiot debuted at number one in the USA and globally to date has sold more than 10 million units.
In 2005, they also became the first band to top six radio charts simultaneously.
American Idiot has been nominated for Record of the Year at the 2006 Grammy Awards. The Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on February 8th.
